Information Notice Regarding the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

As Palmar Tur. Tic. San. Taah. İnş. Ltd. Şti. (“Company”), we attach great importance to the confidentiality and security of your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”). This text has been prepared to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, with whom it is shared, how long it is stored, and your rights.

1. Data Controller

In accordance with the PDPL, your personal data is processed by Palmar Tur. Tic. San. Taah. İnş. Ltd. Şti. in its capacity as data controller within the scope described below.

2. Processed Personal Data

The personal data that may be processed within the scope of accommodation services are as follows:

  • Identity Information (Name, surname, Turkish ID number, passport details, etc.)
  • Contact Information (Telephone number, email address, postal address, etc.)
  • Accommodation Details (Check-in/check-out dates, room preferences, special requests, etc.)
  • Financial Information (Payment details, billing information, etc.)
  • Security Data (CCTV footage, etc.)
  • Your marketing preferences while you are authorised

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

  • Your personal data collected may be processed for the following purposes:
  • The processing of reservations
  • The formation and performance of the accommodation contract
  • Keeping guest records as required by relevant legislation (e.g. Law No. 1774 on Reporting Identity)
  • Managing customer relations and improving service quality
  • The execution of financial transactions
  • Ensuring security
  • If you give your permission, promotional and informational activities may be carried out.

4. Transfer of Personal Data Your personal data may be transferred for the purposes listed above;

  • To the relevant public institutions and organisations (Police, Gendarmerie, etc.)
  • To our suppliers and business partners from whom we receive services within the scope of legal obligations
  • For financial transactions to banks and payment institutions

It may be transferred in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL.

5. Retention Period for Personal Data

Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary in accordance with the relevant legal obligations and retention periods, and will be destroyed at the end of this period.

6. Your Rights Under the PDPL Pursuant to Article 11 of the PDPL;

  • To find out whether your personal data has been processed,
    If it has been processed, to request information about it,
  • Determining the purpose of processing and whether it is being used for that purpose,
  • Knowing the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request correction if incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of data processed in violation of the PDPL,
  • Requesting notification to third parties to whom rectification or erasure operations have been transferred,
  • Objecting to a decision being made against you based solely on the analysis of your processed data by automated systems,
  • You have the right to claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of unlawful processing.
